Dr. Neda Oromchian is the Dental Director of Dentists on Wheels. She graduated from the University of
the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry. She practiced pediatric
dentistry due to her abundant love for children. As a doctor, she has
consistently been involved with volunteering her time and service to
patients and organizations in need, such as providing free dental work for local schools.
Dr. Rainero is a Board Certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and is a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is a member of numerous professional societies including the American Dental Association and the Contra Costa Dental Society. He has
been in private practice in Walnut Creek for over 25 years. Dr. Rainero is on the Active Medical Staff of John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek and has helped develop, establish and coordinates the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Trauma Service.
Dr. Farzaneh is a volunteer Oral Surgeon. He graduated from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry. He then completed a four-year oral and maxillofacial residency program at Highland General Hospital/ University of the Pacific. He is also currently on staff at John Muir Medical Center, a major trauma center in the Bay Area. He volunteers abroad in Haiti and Guatemala by providing extractions of kid's infected baby teeth. Bringing his volunteerism effort locally, he has joined DOW to heal as many as he can in his community.
Dr. John brings 40 years of dedicated dental expertise to our clinic. Outside of volunteering with Dentists on Wheels, he enjoys creating wooden art pieces, scuba diving and participating in dental service trips to Jamaica. Though retired from his private practice, Dr. John continues to share his skills through volunteer work. His wife Debbie, a nurse who also serves our community, shares his passion for supporting various charitable causes.
Dr. Hashemi is a volunteer dentist with DOW and he has practiced dentistry in the Bay Area since 1991 and has extensive experience and knowledge in all aspects of oral health care. He is committed to providing comfortable and convenient dental care and aims for perfect results in the care he administers to his patients.
Dr. Hashemi is passionate about providing comprehensive dental care for his patients including preventative, restorative and reconstructive dentistry. He prides himself in his reputation for doing painless root canals.
Dr. Shimane is one of the Volunteer Dentists. She graduated from St. Joseph’s University and obtained her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. She joined DOW because she realized her dental niche is in public health and using her skills to help the underserved population.
Dr. Sanchez is a compassionate dentist and mother of two beautiful children. With experience as clinicla instructor at UCSF School of Dentistry, she now dedicates her time to serving our community through Dentists on Wheels. Dr. Sanchez's big heart drives her volunteerism, and she is currently exploring mobile dentistry initiatives to further expand access to care for underserved populations.
Dr. Hoch is our Volunteer Endodontist. She graduated from UC Irvine and obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the State University of Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in Buffalo, NY, following with training in Endodontics at the Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA. She joined DOW because she realizes she is fortunate to have a skill that allows her to be of service to others.
Dr. Brian Hathcoat served in the U.S. Navy before attending U.C. Berkeley. He later earned his DDS from the University of the Pacific in San Francisco. Dr. Hathcoat is an active member of the Contra Costa County Dental Society and gives back to the community as a volunteer dentist. Over the years, he has gained valuable experience as a public health dentist with Contra Costa Health Services and in private practice. Outside the office, Dr. Hathcoat enjoys cooking, golf, cycling, reading, and cars.
Dr. Shariati earned her BS in Biochemistry from UCLA before attending the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry at USC. A Bay Area native, she's thrilled to be back in her hometown and serving her community.During her pre-dental and dental school years, Dr. Shariati helped establish and co-manage Dentists on Wheels. As a National Health Service Corps scholar, Dr. Shariati is deeply committed to serving underserved populations, including those with complex healthcare needs and socioeconomic barriers. When not providing dental care, she enjoys reading, hiking, exploring new cuisines, snorkeling, kayaking, spending time with friends and family, and traveling.
Dr. Haydee Campos has been practicing dentistry in San Francisco for over 20 years. Born and raised in the Philippines, she completed her undergraduate studies at San Francisco State University before earning her dental degree from University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Campos lives in the city with her husband, teenage son, and their adorable cat. Outside of providing exceptional dental care, she enjoys books, travel, running, and skiing.
Dr. Yass Dastmalchi brings specialized endodontic expertise to our team. After earning her dental degree from the University of Minnesota, she completed advanced endodontic training at Boston University Goldman School of Dentistry. With over 25 years of practice experience Dr. Dastmalchi is committed to providing high-quality care to underserved communities. When not volunteering with us, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, traveling, reading, and Zumba.
Dr. Procopio brings international expertise to our team, having earned her dental degree with honors from Italy's University of Messina in 1992, with additional training at the University of Bologna. After relocating to California in 1998, she graduated from the University of Pacific School of Dentistry in 2001. Following two years of practice in San Francisco, she established herself in Walnut Creek in 2003, where she lives with her husband and two daughters. Her commitment to community service has inspired the next generation, as one of her daughters also volunteers with Dentists on Wheels.
Keemia was part of the original founding team of Dentist on Wheels and has been managing the team for the last four years. She just graduated from Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC!
Leila was part of the founding team of Dentists on Wheels, our first Grants Manager and current Team Manager. She graduated from the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry and is currently in residency for Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Southern California, Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry.
Fatima was our Team Manager since the inception of our clinic, before she even began dental school. She is currently completing a GPR and will complete her journey in June of 2025. It’s been great seeing her pre-dental and dental journey so far and we are excited to see all that she accomplishes.
Lanvi was the Donations Coordinator and is currently a D2 student at the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health. She is originally from the Bay Area, California, and attended college at UC Berkeley with a double major in molecular environmental biology and music.
Reeva was a Social Media Manager and Grant Writer and she went to
UCSF School of Dentistry.
Melissa was a Former Grants Manager and Grant Writer and she just completed her first year as a dental student at Midwestern University, College of Dental Medicine - Illinois.
Dion is part of our Grants Team and he also volunteered on site in our clinic. He just got accepted into the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry!
Liz was part of our Grants Team; she graduated from UC Berkeley and just got accepted into UCSF School of Dentistry!
Steven is a part of the Grants Team. He graduated from UC Davis and was recently accepted into the DMD program at Western University of Health Sciences!
Emily is a part of our Donation Team and she just got accepted into UCSF School of Dentistry!
